After yesterdays rain, the fields nearest the River Dove are flooded in parts and good numbers of geese were feeding there this mornin'. No sign of anything remotely "wild" though.
Several Skylarks were on the move overhead in the improved conditions, something that was also noticeable later at Brookers and Croxden.
